Saw it yesterday! Pretty good, but I was hoping more for a Triplets of Belleville feel. I didn't realize until I got to the theater that it was adapted from a Jacques Tati screenplay, and it very much feels like an animated Jacques Tati film.
M. Hulot's Holiday is one of my favorite films. I'm just excited for good animation.
Oh, i just got back from seeing it tonight. It's kind of just alright. I like the drunk Scottish guy a lot but Adam thinks that character was kind of racist.
Yeah, might've been a bit stereotypical, but it was kinda like that too in Triplets. Scottish guy was definitely cool when he brought all the "imports" back to the pub to share with everyone else.
