The other night Marci and I rented Alfred Hitchcock's Rope. It's a pretty interesting movie, although it wasn't really all that good plot wise. The first thing you notice is that he's working with a continuous shot throughout the film, just panning in and out of things or people's back. Something else you notice is the artificial sunset which is pretty much the awesomest thing about the whole film. When the blinking neon is hitting their faces at the climax at the film is when it gets pretty sweet. I'd rent the film mostly for that.
